To achieve optimal results and ensure your skin heals properly, it is crucial to follow the pre-care instructions for each tattoo type. Adhering to these guidelines will help the pigments settle naturally and provide the most flawless outcome. Please read and follow the instructions carefully and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions!
Scalp tattoo
Traditional Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
Please shampoo 24 hours prior to the procedure. An oily scalp can prevent the skin from properly absorbing the ink.
DO NOT:
– use a razor on your scalp within 24 hours of the scheduled procedure.
– take Fish Oil or Aspirin 1 week before unless prescribed by a doctor.
– tan. Avoid direct sunlight to avoid burning and peeling of the skin.
– drink alcohol or consume drugs 48 hours before the scheduled procedure.
– wear any hair pieces 1 week before the scheduled procedure.
Scalp tattoo

– use a razor on your brows within 24 hours of the scheduled procedure.
– take Fish Oil or Aspirin 1 week before unless prescribed by a doctor.
– use Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the brow area 2 weeks prior.
– get Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area 1 month prior to the scheduled procedure.
– get brow waxing, tinting, or threading 1 week before the scheduled procedure.
– tan. Avoid direct sunlight to avoid burning and peeling of the skin.
– drink alcohol or consume drugs 48 hours before the scheduled procedure.
Semi-permanent makeup
Air Lip
Please exfoliate your lips 2 days before the scheduled procedure, 2x/day and stay hydrated to prevent dryness.
DO NOT:
– work out 24 hours before the scheduled procedure.
– take Fish Oil or Aspirin 1 week before unless prescribed by a doctor.
– get Botox and filler around the lip area.
– tan. Avoid direct sunlight to avoid burning and peeling of the skin.
– drink alcohol or consume drugs 48 hours before the scheduled procedure.
– get facials, waxing, or bleaching treatments around the lip area.
– use Glycolic acid, chemical peels, and laser treatments on the face.
POST-care

DO:
– Protect your scalp from the sun (wear a hat or apply sunscreen).
– Start moisturizing 4 days after the procedure.
– Regularly monitor for signs of infection, and contact a healthcare provider if any symptoms develop.
DO NOT:
– Wash your scalp for at least 24 hours after the procedure to allow the pigment to set.
– Touch the treatment area as oils and bacteria from fingers can infect it.
– Sweat for up to 5 days after the procedure (avoid activities like the gym, saunas, and beaches)
– Swim for at least 30 days.
– Use hair care products that contain alcohol, as it can make the pigments look blotchy.

– Keep your brows as clean and dry as possible for the first 7-10 days.
– Avoid shower water running directly over your face for the first 7-10 days.
– Avoid steamy baths and showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for the first 7-10 days.
– Avoid intense sweaty exercise for 7-10 days.
– Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.
DO NOT:
– Sleep on your front for the first few days.
– Touch or scratch your eyebrows.
– Have facials, lash extensions, brow tinting or other face beauty treatments for 2 weeks after the procedure to avoid irritation and cross contamination.
– Wear makeup, use cleanser or lotions on or close to your brows for 1-2 weeks to avoid irritation & cross contamination.
– Use sunbeds, chemical peels or any strong face treatment for 4 weeks to allow your skin to heal.
Semi-permanent makeup
Air Lip
DO:
– Use an icepack or take ibuprofen if your lips feel swollen and bruising is present.
– Keep your lips clean and dry, but lightly moisturized, for the first 7-10 days.
– Avoid shower water running directly over your face for the first 7-10 days.
– Avoid steamy baths and showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for the first 7-10 days.
– Be careful when cleaning your teeth for the first 7 days.
DO NOT:
– Pick, wipe, or lick lips.
– Eat greasy, spicy, and oily foods as well as citrus fruits and juices for the first 7 days.
– Kiss or drink water directly for 3 days (drink through a straw)
